The opening of the production and warehouse hall together with the office part and technical infrastructure in Biskupice Podgórne will take place on any day, the general contractor of which was PROJPRZEM Budownictwo Sp. z o.o. This realization was one of the first large contracts implemented by this company. Its value is almost PLN 30 million.

The conclusion of the contract with Starion for the construction of a production and warehouse hall together with the office part and technical infrastructure in Biskupice Podgórne, in the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone, PROJPRZEM MAKRUM announced in the current report in September last year. Party of the contract – Starion Poland Sp. z o.o. – is a manufacturer of plastic housings for electric vehicle batteries. The company is a co-operator of such companies as eg LG Chem.

As part of the consortium of general contracting agreements in the “design and build” formula, PROJPRZEM Budownictwo acted as a leader, carrying out the majority of works. On a plot of approximately 22,000 sq m, a hall with a usable area of 9,332.0 m2 was built. It is the largest battery factory in Europe. At the end of May, permission for the use of buildings was obtained. In June final collections were made and handed over to the ordering party. The investor is currently continuing to equip the facility, at the same time starting its first production works.

In September, we wrote about laying the cornerstone for the object. The President of the Management Board of PROJPRZEM Budownictwo, Dariusz Paprzycki took part in this ceremony. In the following days, a formal ribbon cutting and official opening of the facility are planned.
