On the occasion of earlier implementations, we wrote about the growing importance of asphalt destructing processing along with the growing need for recycling in the road construction process, also in connection with emerging regulations and directives encouraging its use as full-fledged building material. For this process, specialists from PROJPRZEM-MAKRUM created an innovative machine – GDA asphalt destruct granulator.
This is the third asphalt destruct granulator that was ordered by the same customer. This may indicate satisfaction with our product. GDA is one of the newest projects of specialists in the segment of crushing and grinding machines PROJPRZEM-MAKRUM. However, it quickly became an important element of the company’s offer. Its unique features mean that customers return for more copies of the granulator. A bituminous mass plant in Kraśnik is such a customer and PROJPRZEM MAKRUM has already supplied their third GDA granulator to their plants.
The asphalt destruct granulator is a unique, modern and pro-ecological asphalt milling crusher. It is characterized by high efficiency and low energy consumption. Modern technology and the use of selected, specially designed components guarantees work in any temperature and weather conditions. This device has been designed according to latest material trends, ensuring maximum long life cycles for consumable parts and leaving great ergonomics during use and service. An additional advantage of the asphalt destruct granulator is the full adjustment of gaps and roller settings allowing to obtain the desired asphalt granulate. The Asphalt Destroy Granulator has a modular structure. Thanks to this, it can be part of the pellet production line, both in the stationary version and on mobile platforms. The machine is a response to the latest challenges posed in the subject of modernization of road infrastructure and constantly tightening ecological standards.
In 2017, the Council of Ministers issued a regulation on the management of certain components of the Treasury, pursuant to which GDDKiA was given the opportunity to provide local government units with unnecessary materials, e.g. asphalt destroyed road repairs. Legislation in this area and market trends have long been monitored by specialists of the PROJPRZEM MAKRUM company, seeking ways to refresh the offer of the MAKRUM brand – a producer of crushing and grinding machines with over 150 years of experience. This is how the GDA – Asphalt Destroyed Granulator was created, which is a valuable material used in the construction and modernization of road infrastructure. Rapidly developing technology for the production of bituminous mixtures causes that mixtures with the content of asphalt are widely used in the world. This trend is supported by European directives on the use of industrial waste and legislation in some countries (e.g. Great Britain, where landfill taxation has been introduced).
