Grupa Przemysłowa PROJPRZEM MAKRUM S.A. published its financial statements for the first half of 2018. The company, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1999, recorded a 50% increase in consolidated revenues and a 3-fold increase in EBITDA.

The revenues of Grupa PROJPRZEM MAKRUM in the first half of this year amounted to PLN 122.9 million, increasing by half compared to the first half of 2017. The operating profit was at the level of PLN 8.9 million, as compared to PLN 1.7 million in the corresponding period of the previous year, and the net profit was up to PLN 4.8 million, as compared to the loss incurred a year earlier. The Group’s EBITDA tripled to PLN 10.6 million versus PLN 3.5 million in H1 2017.

“In our strategy, we have presented the market with a very concrete vision of the company’s development. The latest results show that we are on the right track. We are very pleased with the growth, thanks to which we can develop dynamically, but also share the profit with our Shareholders,” comments Piotr Szczeblewski, President of the Management Board of PROJPRZEM MAKRUM S.A.

PROJPRZEM MAKRUM not only improves the results period-to-period, but also returns to paying dividends. The day following the publication of the company’s financial results is the dividend day. The Company will share its profit with the Shareholders already on 12 September, allocating PLN 6,580,987.60, i.e. PLN 1.10 per share, for this purpose.

The company report identified three main operating segments: docking solutions, steel machinery and structures and industrial construction. All the segments attained positive results.

The highest profitability was achieved by the industrial construction segment, which is a result of the implementation of high-margin contracts contracted last year. This segment recorded 45.2 million in revenues, as compared to 3.1 million in the first half of 2017. In the past year, this period was the first full half-year of the activity of PROJPRZEM Budownictwo, a company established within the Group to reactivate the company’s historical activity in the field of industrial construction.

Docking solutions, i.e. the operating segment of the company perceived as the most promising due to the boom on the e-commerce market and the development of distribution centres, recorded revenues of PLN 63.6 million (PLN 48.7 million in the first half of 2017). This reporting segment also includes sales of the Group’s newest product – the MODULO innovative parking systems. In total, this segment holds over a half of shares in the company’s revenues.

The only segment in PROJPRZEM MAKRUM activity that did not increase as compared to the previous year was the segment of steel machines and structures. It recorded PLN 12.8 million of revenue. Their reduction compared to the previous year is a result of disposal of an inefficient production plant in Sępólno Krajeńskie. Currently, works are underway on increasing the production potential of the key plant of the company in Koronowo near Bydgoszcz. The Machine Segment will currently, in line with the strategic assumptions, focus on sales of own products for the raw material extraction and processing industry, limiting its service activities based on third-party documentation.
