PROJPRZEM MAKRUM S.A. has summed up the 1st quarter of 2018, recording consolidated revenue at the level of PLN 55.4 million, which means an increase by 75% compared with an analogous period of past year. Industrial building recorded the biggest score among segments of the Group’s activity.

In the first quarter of 2018, PROJPRZEM MAKRUM Group reached very good financial results, continuing high dynamics of growths presented in a statement for 2017 published at the end of April. The revenue in this quarter amounted to PLN 55.4 million and increased by over 75% in comparison with the 1st quarter of 2017. EBITDA outcome of PROJPRZEM Group in the 1st quarter came to PLN 4.9 million and was more than 2-fold higher than in this period last year. The net result stood at PLN 2.4 million, compared with a nearly million loss in the 1st quarter of 2017.

“After the excellent results for 2017, the target was set very high to us. We were able to cope with the challenge, recording further improvement of PROJPRZEM MAKRUM’s results. We are implementing the development strategy adopted, which is to make our company several times bigger.” – comments Piotr Szczeblewski, President of PROJPRZEM MAKRUM S.A. Management Board.

The sector of docking solutions, responsible for a half of the revenue in PROJPRZEM MAKRUM Group, earned 28.2 million i.e. by 29% more than in the 1st quarter of 2017. Sales of MODULO parking systems account for some of the segment’s revenue – currently developed concept of innovative car parks of the future.

The segment of industrial building was characterised by the largest dynamics of growth in revenue which increased 12 times, exceeding the threshold of 19 million. From the beginning of its activity to 17 May 2018 i.e. within 15 months PROJPRZEM Budownictwo subsidiary, which represents the sector, signed nineteen contracts for total amount of approximately PLN 134.7 million of which PLN 25 million was realised in 2017.  The company will realise more than PLN 100 million of revenue in 2018 from other contracts. The currently most significant contracts are performed for such entities as: Starion Poland Sp. z o.o., LUVENA SA and Shapers’ Poland Sp. z o.o.

In the first quarter the segment of machinery and steel constructions earned 7.5 million. The company concentrates on production of own crushing and grinding machines by Makrum, which will allow achieving margins higher than earlier in this segment.

The company’s return to payout of dividend is one of the most important information which sums up the statement. Such a recommendation was presented by the company’s Supervisory Board, and a final decision will be made at the General Meeting of the company in May. If shareholders consent to this recommendation, the dividend will amount to PLN 1 per share.
